we recruited a channel partner for a helpdesk product, as well
as recruited the Japan Country Manager.

hired the former president of BaaN Japan who, for the previous
20 years, had held senior management posts at IBM, Uniden, and

provides procurement optimization technology. Japan Recruit hired
a GM with an extensive background in supply chain and logistics
IT systems from Adexa, where he had closed a record $36M deal.
eCopy (Simplify)
eCopy
provides document imaging software for electronic distribution
of paper documents. Negotiated a strategic alliance with Canon
U.S.A. involving marketing funding of $3M and Canon resales of
eCopy's solutions in conjunction with its copiers. Subsequently
the partnership grew, and eCopy garnered a $15.8M equity investment,
and Japan Recruit recruited the former VP Sales from Adobe Japan
as Country Manager along with marketing and technical staff.

strategic product for Microsoft in Japan. Hired Country Manager,

Lotus Development Japan.

extensive SCM experience including seven years running Asia-Pacific
for EXE Technologies. He had experience as the president of the
U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese 3PL and spearheaded the reengineering
of the supply chain at Dell and Yamaha Motors.

is an XML database provider. Hired two seasoned executives for
this Japanese company's expansion into North America and Europe.
One individual previously served as the president of Cartesis
where he quadrupled sales, and prior to that as VP Sales for Business
Objects where he nearly doubled revenue to $70M. The second individual
was formerly the channel business manager for Hyperion Europe,
and had directly relevant domain expertise from Brio and Informix.

Subsequently recruited the Country Manager of the parties' joint
venture.
